Privacy
The short version: your answers stay in your browser unless you choose to send them, and you can take back what you publish.
What stays on your device
Your answers and result are computed in your browser and kept in its local storage so you can come back to them. Images you save are drawn in your browser.
What we receive, and only when you choose
- Adding your answers to the results, or joining the live room, sends your answers (and any later votes) under a random ID. No name or email. A handle is optional and shown to no one. The results page shows only totals, and nothing about any group smaller than ten people.
- A share link publishes the parts of your result you pick, after showing you exactly what. Anonymous links use a generated name. The print on a result-only link is drawn from your answers in a scrambled order, so it can't be read back into them.
- A verified account: for Bluesky we read your public profile and recent posts to find the code you posted; for X, X tells us your name, handle and picture. We keep those three things and nothing else, and no access tokens.
- Fairness ratings and misreading reports hold only what you write.
What we count
Daily totals only, such as how many people started or shared. No cookies, no IDs, no third-party analytics. To stop abuse, we briefly keep a scrambled form of your network address; it can't be turned back into the address and is deleted after about a day.
Taking it back
Your share link can be deleted from the browser that made it, and deletion removes it from our database. To leave the room, use “Leave the room on this device”. For anything else, report it from your result page.
Age
This is for people 18 and over.
